The Clutching Grove is a malicious forest of indeterminate size and location. It looks like every nightmare forest that existed. Though there is no wind, the branches creak and move, claw like branches reaching out for you. Getting into it is easy, getting out of it is near impossible. The one feature that remains the same is that near the center are seven skeletons hanging from branches. Though their remains are such that they shouldn't be kept together, they still exist, with only fragments of clothing on them. They are the remains of seven of the original fey's children. The first fey who died and they were murdered with iron in this grove. Their spirits haunt it now and they crave more to join them in their misery. In their endless restlessness.

Getting near the Grove a person can hear whispers of promises that could come to someone who enters it. The promises are vague but of something the person might want. All of it is to entice a person to enter and be added to its collection.

Sometimes it'll appear and wrap itself around a town and stay there for some unspecified time before vanishing. One morning you wake up and there's a malicious grove of trees then a few days later they're gone.

It's a place of death and it seeks to bring more to it.
